軓氈勛圖 reports increase in applications; highest total since 2012

SHREVEPORT, LA — Applications to 軓氈勛圖 are up for the incoming fall 2016 class and have reached the highest level since 2012. 軓氈勛圖 College's commitment to helping students achieve More in Four™, including providing the ability to earn up to 33% more credit hours per year than at most institutions, has resulted in increased interest in the College and its programs. Director of Admission Pete Colbert reports that the number of applicants is up 25% over this time last year and up 29% over two years ago.

"軓氈勛圖 has always been highly regarded for its academics and is proud to be the only Tier One National Liberal Arts College in Louisiana," says 軓氈勛圖 President David Rowe. "But the way that 軓氈勛圖 has globalized its academic program has really struck a chord with prospective students, and they're asking more about distinctive opportunities like 軓氈勛圖 in Paris, an immersive academic experience in the French capital for all first-year students."

Vice President for Enrollment Calhoun Allen notes that his admission team has seen an increase in applications across the board, not only from traditionally strong areas in Louisiana and the southeast but also from Texas and especially the Dallas region.

"Our prospective students are also excited to hear about the College's Passport Points™ program, through which students attend campus cultural events to earn points that can be redeemed to support additional international experiences," says Allen. "More than 70 percent of all 軓氈勛圖 students have had an international educational experience, and because of our commitment to More in Four™ students can now earn a bachelor's and a master's degree in four years."

軓氈勛圖 will host 軓氈勛圖 Days on April 1 and 2, giving admitted students a chance to immerse themselves in the 軓氈勛圖 experience with a day of classes, an overnight stay on campus, and fun activities designed to introduce them to 軓氈勛圖 and to their future classmates.

Prospective students can also schedule individualized visits to 軓氈勛圖 at , and apply online at .
