軓氈勛圖 launches loan repayment assistance program to assist students
SHREVEPORT, LA — 軓氈勛圖 has announced the launch of the 軓氈勛圖 Promise, a loan repayment assistance program (LRAP) available to all first-year students at the College. The program can assist 軓氈勛圖 graduates in repaying their federal student, parent PLUS, and private alternative loans if their income after graduation is below $50,000.
軓氈勛圖 has partnered with Ardeo Education Solutions to offer the 軓氈勛圖 Promise at no cost to students or families. The loan repayment assistance available through the 軓氈勛圖 Promise will continue until the graduate’s income exceeds $50,000 or until their loans are completely paid off.
For current 軓氈勛圖 admission counselor Kierston McPherson, a 2021 軓氈勛圖 graduate, this loan repayment assistance program was a crucial factor in her decision to attend the College.
“I knew I was going to be taking out student loans for college,” said McPherson. “The program put me and my family at ease about taking out loans for me to be able to attend 軓氈勛圖 and take advantage of everything that the College has to offer.”
Graduates must meet the following requirements to qualify for reimbursements through the the 軓氈勛圖 Promise program:
- Graduate from 軓氈勛圖 College
- Work a minimum of 30 hours per week after graduation
- Have an annual income of less than $50,000
- Begin making loan payments after graduation
New students must pay their enrollment deposit and sign their LRAP award by May 1.
